Our mission is to help create greater awareness of food and a meaningful connection to ingredients, and contribute to building a community of conscious consumers.
We offer in-home cooking coaching and training for singles or families who don't have the time, skills, or ability to prepare home made meals.
Kitchen Literacy is not just about skill. It is about your kitchen, and about being aware of what you put in it, what you make in it, and with whom. Knowing where your food comes from and fostering respect for the process.
We aim to show individuals and families a way out of the cycle of bought lunches and highly processed or chain restaurant meals by helping them get comfortable with kitchen skill, time management and menu planning, demystifying the shopping experience, etc.
