Hacking Your New Year's Resolutions

January 28th. That’s the date by which most New Year’s resolutions die. If you’re struggling to create or maintain a new behaviour, you’re not alone. As part of our Discover Explore series, Groundswell and Hydra Labs present:

Hacking Your New Year’s Resolutions
Sunday January 13, 2019  |
1-4 pm (doors @ 12:30) | $30

New Year’s resolutions are usually poorly designed. Most are either a distant goal (running a marathon) or a loose commitment (eat better). These kinds of resolutions take a lot of mental energy to maintain on a day to day basis. No wonder so many people abandon them!

The solution? Start with a clean slate by bringing peace of mind and completion to the past year, and develop some core practices for the new year that will support your most important goals.

In the first part of this workshop we will bring closure to the past year by creating a beautiful collective timeline and from there provide you with an opportunity to do some individual reflection in your own custom workbook. We will give our last goodbyes to 2018 and turn our attention to the year ahead. We will spend some time getting your creative energy flowing, and do some further individual reflection to support you in designing powerful core practices for the new year that will support your most important goals.

This is the perfect way to create your 2019. Get ready for a wonderful experience of reflection and creativity. Bring your favourite mug, your favourite pens and your favourite friends with you!

The workshop will wrap up with a short discussion about how you can continue your accountability and momentum with the Explore program, which starts January 19th.

Discover Explore is a series of workshops designed to give you a sample of our 4-week Explore program, a self-development workshop for entrepreneurs and freelancers, and those who are curious about pursuing self-employment. More about Explore here!
